What happens during the primary examination, and how long does it take?

You should allow about 45 minutes for the primary examination. Do not wear contact lenses four days beforehand. During the primary examination, we give you pupil dilating drops so that we can examine your retina. You will have impoverished close vision for a few hours afterwards. Therefore, do not come to the appointment by car and bring sunglasses with you, as you will be sensitive to light afterwards.

During the examination, we examine and measure your eyes in detail. In addition, we discuss the corresponding treatment method in depth and clarify any questions you might have.
